Automatic identification
We are making Renewi leaner and more efficient through digitisation. Technologies like artificial intelligence and advanced sensoring are aiding us to identify and trace materials that flow through Renewi, to better separate and recycle more waste. Our current systems are substituting manual labours to identify aerosol bottles, spray cans and discarded propane tanks among our waste to prevent fires. This enables our sites to save millions of euros to cover claims, pay for insurance, repair the damage done whilst better care for our people.
