Before a new product is created it is usually worked out on the drawing board. This is the first step in which Renewi demonstrates its added value, by actively thinking along with you about the raw materials you use or reuse. And by supplying these raw materials. Right from the development stage, we are already making provision for the components in new products to have a second life.

The production process

Speed and flexibility: the basis for success. Whether in the production of refrigerators or freshly packed fruit, the sooner we think about the components and the raw materials that will be required later on in the production process, the faster and more flexible it will be. In your production process you can use materials that someone else no longer wants, such as raw materials and components that have been recycled and upcycled.

Separation at source

If you are a supplier of raw materials you can benefit from maximum separation at source. You can use innovative collection resources to achieve waste streams of an increasingly high quality and these waste streams can be given a second life as raw materials. They may be used now or later, by you or by another producer, thus helping to create value and to reduce the cost of waste.

Collection and temporary storage

Thanks to our extensive logistics network, Renewi is always able to collect waste and supply raw materials efficiently and effectively. If there is a better way to do this, we will use it. The fewer kilometres we travel, the lower the carbon emissions from our fleet will be.

Processing and recycling in modern recycling stations

Renewi has its own recycling operations where we convert specific waste streams into high-quality secondary raw materials. We are continuing to invest in innovative sorting and recycling methods in order to be able to supply specific streams as raw materials for your production process. The sooner we know what the requirements are, the higher the quality of the components and raw materials we supply will be.
