A second life for discarded car windows
Carglass replaces more than two million kilos of broken car windows each year. Our subsidiary Maltha collects this on behalf of Carglass Netherlands and thus processes over 2,000 tonnes of glass waste annually, nearly 95% of which is given a second life as a raw material for new glass products. In addition, the PVB film from car windows is also reused for the production of new carpet tiles.
