New purpose for old frying pans
Making a better world requires a joint effort. Our subsidiary Coolrec is an annual partner of the ‘Tefal Swap Weeks’ at Blokker and Marskramer. At these shops, customers receive a 30% discount on new Tefal frying pans when they return their old ones. The discarded pans subsequently end up at Coolrec where, among other things, the plastic, aluminium and metal are processed into raw materials for new products. In 2018, for example, more than 31,000 kilograms of old frying pans were given a new purpose.
