We use various techniques to sort and recycle plastics into different streams and prevent incineration or landfilling. No matter the complexity of the waste, our subsidiary Coolrec and the new process line in Ghent, Belgium, can track up different types of plastics and maximise the output of secondary raw materials by safely processing hazardous polymers that would otherwise be incinerated. So, we are looking for ways to keep establishing Renewi as a key actor in the value chain to deliver certified, high-quality recycled plastics to producers and replace fossil-based feedstock with more sustainable and circular alternatives.
