Harld Peters
Chief Executive Officer
Appointed: July 2025
Harld joined the Board of Directors in July 2025 as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Renewi, he held senior leadership roles at, among others, Lineage Logistics and UPS, two global leaders in logistics and supply chain management. At Lineage, he served as President Europe, leading operational integration and advancing sustainable, customer-focused practices.
He spent over 20 years at UPS, including as President of UPS China and Western Europe, driving international growth and operational transformation. Harld also worked as Regional President Northern Europe for ManpowerGroup, overseeing multiple business lines and leading digital and operational change in the HR services sector. He combines international experience and a strategic mindset with a hands-on, data-driven leadership style, always with a strong focus on people, performance, safety, and long-term impact. Harld holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics from Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

Annemieke den Otter, MA, RC
Chief Financial Officer
Appointed: June 2022
Annemieke joined the Board of Directors in June 2022. Prior to that, she was CFO at ERIKS, a global engineering company with sales of €1.7 billion and part of the SHV group. From 2016 to 2021, she held the role of CFO at Ordina, a Dutch listed software company. Earlier in her career, she worked for three years at VolkerWessels, one of the largest construction companies in the Netherlands.
She also gained experience at ING and Macquarie Bank and spent five years in London. Since 2020, Annemieke has been a member of the Supervisory Board of ForFarmers N.V., an international organisation providing feed solutions for the livestock industry. Her broad expertise in finance and operations is enhanced by her strong academic background: she obtained a Master’s in English and Literary Studies from VU Amsterdam and a post-master's degree in finance and control from Erasmus University Rotterdam, making her a Chartered Controller (RC).

Martijn Hulshof
Chief Transformation Officer (ad interim)
Martijn joined Renewi in July 2025 as ad interim Chief Transformation Officer, alongside his role as Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting, where he co-leads the Business Transformation practice in the Benelux. He has over 25 years of experience in business transformation, operational performance improvement, integrations and carve-outs, and large-scale change management programs.
Before joining Renewi, Martijn led numerous transformation, integration, carve-out and performance improvement projects across the industrial, food and retail sectors, helping clients achieve substantial and sustainable results. Earlier, he was part of the People & Change practice at KPMG Netherlands, focusing on leading large scale HR and workforce optimization projects and began his career at DuPont, managing organizational transformation initiatives.
Martijn combines an entrepreneurial mindset with a people-focused leadership style, supporting organizations in realizing lasting impact in complex and dynamic environments.

Kwafie Jansen
Chief Operating Officer
Kwafie Jansen joined Renewi as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in January 2025. With more than 25 years of experience in operational and strategic leadership roles, Kwafie brings extensive knowledge and expertise. Kwafie built a track record at leading companies such as Vattenfall and Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE). In her most recent role as General Manager of JDE Professional Netherlands, she was responsible for the Dutch professional market, where she achieved sustainable growth and took customer satisfaction to the next level.

Kirsten Yperman
Chief Human Resources Officer
Kirsten assumed the role of interim Chief Human Resources Officer at Renewi in April 2024, after joining the company as HR Director Belgium in 2022. Prior to her time at Renewi, Kirsten held several senior HR positions at Stanley Black & Decker. Her last role there was Senior HR Director Commercial Central East Europe Region & Finance EMEA ANZ. She also has experience as Talent Management Director EMEA ANZ, in which she was responsible for talent management at regional level.
Kirsten holds a Bachelor’s in Marketing from Karel de Grote University College and completed several strategic HR courses at Vlerick Business School. Her strong background in international HR policy and talent management forms a valuable contribution to Renewi's success.
