Wastetoproduct company Renewi proudly announces that its Destra site in Breda, which specializes in the sustainable processing of confidential waste, has obtained the NAID AAA certification.

Every year, Destra processes approximately 10,000 tonnes of confidential archives and around 7,500 tonnes of confidential materials such as IT hardware, consumer electronics, textiles, industrial machines, and medical devices. After the secure processing procedure, Destra ensures that as much of this material as possible is directed toward recycling, so that valuable raw materials can be reused.

In the Benelux, Renewi already held the CA+ certification for the destruction of archives, data carriers, and products. With the NAID AAA certification, the company takes an important next step: this globally recognized, independent standard for organizations that destroy confidential information confirms that Renewi meets the strictest requirements in terms of security, processes, and legislation (such as GDPR). Compliance is verified through periodic and unannounced audits by external experts.

Thanks to this certification, Renewi can support even more organizations with high compliance and datasecurity requirements by offering a safe, reliable, and sustainable destruction process.
