Renewi, a leading waste-to-product company, today announced that Annemieke den Otter will step down from her role as Chief Financial Officer and Board Member of Renewi Ltd. Federico La Manna has been appointed as her successor and will join Renewi with effect from 2 February 2026.
As CFO, Federico will lead Renewi’s financial strategy and performance, with a focus on profitable growth, investments that advance Renewi’s circular mission, and highquality financial and ESG reporting.
Paul Mitchener, Chairman to the Board of Renewi, commented:
“Federico brings a strong combination of international financial leadership, transformation expertise and disciplined capital management. The Board is confident that his experience will be highly valuable as Renewi continues to strengthen its financial foundations while advancing its circular ambitions.”
Commenting on his appointment, Federico La Manna said:
“I am very excited to join Renewi at a time when financial performance, capital allocation and sustainability outcomes are more closely connected than ever. What particularly attracts me to Renewi is the opportunity to apply strong financial discipline in a business that delivers tangible environmental impact and long term value.”
Annemieke den Otter will step down after an impactful period of service as CFO. Since joining Renewi in 2022, Annemieke has guided the company through significant challenges and opportunities. Under her leadership, strong strategic choices were executed, such as the sale of UK Municipal in October 2024, sharpening our focus on Renewi’s most attractive recycling markets. In addition she was a guiding partner in Renewi’s recent change of ownership. The company thanks Annemieke for her significant contribution to Renewi and wishes her every success for the future.
